Large Davy Lamp, Hednesford. The lamp is over twelve feet in height. A special feature of its design is a flame that is visible inside the outer casing. It is a permanent flame, which can be seen to represent the lasting memories of all of those individuals to whom the memorial pays tribute. The lamp bears wording around its base that reads ‘Also remembering those unnamed persons, including children, who gave their lives in service to the mining industry in the Cannock Chase Coalfield’.

Cannock Embroidery. Chadsmoor Tapestry Group accepted the commission from Tony Wright, MP in 2001 - he had suggested that they create an Embroidery for the Community to celebrate the area’s Heritage, featuring Images of Cannock’s Past and Present and the Flora and Fauna of Cannock Chase. It took over six years to complete. The Cannock Embroidery measures eleven feet by six feet and is of a three dimensional design.
